join our rides
Ride with us! Social rides are a great way to meet like-minded cyclists. We host a few recurring group rides. Check our Facebook to keep up with our weekly rides, or contact us if you're interested in hosting your own.
gainesville cycling club - rouleur ride
The Rouleur ride is a Tuesday evening road ride hosted by GCC, and begins at The Freewheel Project around 5 or 6pm. The Rouleur Ride is a reliable training platform for fit riders who wish to safely maintain a high pace without fear of shenanigans that might get them dropped. This is not a ride for beginners! For more information, join the Gainesville Cycling Club or contact the ride leader, Kerry Duggan.
women's social ride
Our Outreach Coordinator Ana Fajardo leads a social ride that aims to promote women's cycling by providing an encouraging space for women to meet others with similar cycling goals and interests. This ride typically goes out to the Alachua Lake Overlook on the Hawthorne trail and is about 10 miles round trip. It's a great way to connect with fellow lady cyclists.
saturday repair clinics
We meet almost every Saturday morning at 10 am and work on bikes for donation to local children in need. Under the supervision and guidance of our experienced mechanic staff, you will learn valuable repair skills at no cost (other than your desire to learn and contribute to the community!) This clinic is FREE, ALL AGES, and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Email to be added to the mailing list for our Kickstand clinics.
